We have three full-time guest rooms. Due to the high demand for lodging during the Brimfield Antique Show weeks, we open up two additional rooms. All guest rooms have private baths, individual thermostats, seasonal air conditioning, ceiling fans, and wireless internet.

Elias Carter

Room
2nd floor room, $139 - $206
Queen & Twin Beds

Named after the famed Elias Carter - architect and designer, as well as the first owner of our property around 1800, The Elias Carter Room offers four large windows, a ceiling fan, and seasonal air conditioning along with two white iron Victorian style beds (queen & twin). Furnishings include a Fischel 1900s embossed Bentwood settee,  an oversized ladies bureau in white with a matching ¾ length mirror, two Victorian arm chairs, marble top end tables, oriental and needlepoint rugs, and an antique blanket chest. The room is painted in a deep red color and is complimented with 15 Victorian era Godey fashion prints as well as a framed Victorian fan. Pink hobnail glass and Wallace Nutting prints complete the room.  Storage is supplied via a private closet with double hanging rods as well as a peg rack for long garments. Private bath and shower.

The Israel Trask Room

Queen & Twin Beds

Named after one of the notable owners of our property in the early 1800s, The Israel Trask room offers four large windows, a ceiling fan, and seasonal air conditioning along with a Queen size four poster mahogany bed from a local historic home, and a white iron Victorian style twin bed.  Furnishings include two Victorian marble top end tables, an Empire settee, a tiger maple 1820s drop leaf table, and two antique windsor chairs which surround the fireplace. A hand painted folk art mural covers the fireplace opening and an 1863 Shaker style coverlet section is framed over the mantel. Flowered prints compliment the room. A tall mahogany 6 drawer bureau offers storage along with a private closet. Private bath and shower.
The Sawin Room

Full Size Double & Twin Beds

Dr. Robert Sawin owned the property in the 1890s - 1919 timeframe. He kept an office in the house where he saw his medical patients and also extracted teeth. The Sawin Room offers a full size double bed and a twin bed for the travelers that need separate sleeping arrangements. A large full size window facing southeast, a ceiling fan, and seasonal air conditioner are included as well as a built- in closet and tall bureau for storage.  Private bath and shower along with a pedestal sink complete the room.
The Williams Room

2nd floor room, $195
Queen Bed & Low Platform Bad

The house was built circa 1800 by the son of Rev. Nehemiah Williams, a pastor of the Congregational Church during the Revolutionary War. The Williams Room offers a Queen size low platform bed, ceiling fan, and seasonal air conditioning. Black and White furnishings are accented with vintage Coca Cola themed collectibles. Modern amenities include built-in shelving, a tall bureau, and skylight. Private bath and shower are included. A small reading area under the skylight offers a welcome retreat.

The Hitchcock Room

Queen Bed

Hitchcock Free Academy was founded as the first free High School in the area by Samuel Austin Hitchcock in 1855. Elias Carter was the architect of the academy. Our property resides just a few doors down from the Academy on the common in Brimfield. The Samuel A. Hitchcock Room offers a Queen size platform bed and ceiling fan. A private deck with a bistro table and two chairs offers a quiet spot for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.  The room is furnished in a rustic fishing motif including antique fish prints and pastels. Built-in shelving and a private closet offer storage. A private shower is also included.
